With this service, we will temporarily deposit a registration fee equivalent to 30% of your annual usage, and we will purchase and manage your rare earth products according to your annual demand.

Storing these products in our domestic warehouses ensures uninterrupted access to necessary resources year-round, mitigating the risks associated with supply chain disruptions and helping to maintain consistent workflow for your business.

The registration fee will be refunded in full once the annual usage amount has been used up.

At Rare Earth Rocks Kyoto, we handle the import procedures for rare earth export-regulated items in China.

On April 9, 2025, we established a specialized team in China to facilitate the export license application process.

As of August 31, after the team was established, 20 export license have been obtained.

Items subject to export regulations include:

1. Samarium (Sm)

2. Gadolinium (Gd)

3. Terbium (Tb)

4. Dysprosium (Dy)

5. Luthetium (Lu)

6. Scandium (Sc)

7. Yttrium (Y)

Products or samples containing more than 0.1% of these elements are subject to regulations and require an export license.

This regulation came into effect on April 4, 2025.

We import safely and securely after obtaining export licenses, so please feel free to contact us.

The export license application requires the following documents:

1. Contract

2. Dual-use (military and civilian) technical descriptions or inspection reports

3. End-user and end-use certification documents

4. Importer's Certificate

5. Identification card of the legal representative and business owner of the exporting company

6. Supplementary materials (e.g., supply chain description)

Of these, the end user and final destination certificate (3) must be prepared by the customer.

We will provide you with the form and an example of how to fill it out, so you can prepare with peace of mind.

The application process and required timeframe is as follows:

Week 1: Collect required documents, prepare application form, and submit to the China Regional Bureau of Commerce

Week 2: Acceptance and review by the Chugoku Regional Bureau of Commerce

3rd week: Acceptance and review by the Ministry of Commerce of China (approximately 45 business days)

Week 10: Export license issued and ready to ship

**License Expiration Date**

The export license is valid until March 31st of each year.

If you wish to continue using the service, you must renew it by March 31st of each year.

**License Type**

1. One contract, one license:

This type of license is issued per contract and requires a new license for each contract.

2. One contract, multiple licenses:

This type of license allows for up to 12 shipments under one contract. Within the validity period, multiple shipments can be made quickly, significantly shortening delivery times, especially for subsequent shipments.
